CleanNA Tips
Tip 1.
Is your lysis buffer precipitated? Heat it at 37 °C before starting your experiment. To prevent precipitation next time, make sure to store your lysis buffer in a room that is not too cold.
Tip 2.
To increase the yield of a DNA/RNA extraction with a CleanNA kit, you can try pre-heating the elution buffer to 70 °C before elution.
Tip 3.
Did you know disruption of cells, especially Gram-positive bacteria is crucial in order to obtain good DNA and/or RNA yields?
